According to the FTC’s complaint, a Florida-based company called CyberSpy Software,marketed and sold RemoteSpy keylogger spyware to clients who would then secretly monitor unsuspecting pleoples computers. While a key logger could be useful in monitoring your children’s or families computer with the knowledge and consent of all the users it is not an effective tool in an undercover investigation.

But don’t give up hope, There are perfectly legal and effective ways to conduct an Internet investigation with out downloading or installing and malicious spy software. In fact you do not even need access to the targets computer. He could be using an anonymous email account from a library or Cyber cafe and you can still uncover every aspect of their online infidelity. Find secret email accounts, secret personal ads, Myspace pages. Even membership to porn sites and escort services can be uncovered without ever coming within a thousand miles of the targets computer.
